Job Description
*CDP - Chef De Partie*
_For South Indian QSR - Thane, Maharashtra_
*Job Role*
CDP runs a specific section of the kitchen independently and reports to the Head Chef/Sous Chef. For a South Indian QSR, this is usually the "South Indian Live Counter / Hot Section".
*Key Responsibilities*
- *Section Management*: Handle Dosa, Uttapam, Idli, Vada station during service
- *Food Prep*: Prep batter, sambar, rasam, 3-4 types of chutneys daily
- *Quality Control*: Maintain taste, portion size, and plating standards
- *Speed*: Serve 80-100+ covers during peak breakfast/evening hours
*Skills Required*
- 2-3 years experience as CDP/Commi 1st in South Indian restaurant or QSR
- Expert in Dosa spreading, fermentation, chutney & sambar recipes
- Fast, hygienic, and able to work under pressure
- Basic knowledge of costing and wastage control
*Shift & Other Details*
- *Timings*: Usually 9 hrs with 30min break. Split shifts common for QSR
- *Location*: Thane, Maharashtra
- *Candidates*: Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai preferred
