JD For Linux:

Installation of most common Linux flavors i.e. RHEL, Ubuntu
Implementing security measures and patching for OS.
Ability to configure and manage SAN boot disk as well as physical servers.
Ability to mitigate active system problems by understanding their nature and implementing resolution steps.
Understanding of OS, Kernel, network and disk performance is must.
Expertise in logical volume manager and filesystem management.
Install, Configure, Upgrade Enterprise Automations Client Software and support Level 4 Enterprise Automation Client Software
Install, Configure, Upgrade Hardware Monitoring Client Software and support Level 4 Hardware monitoring Client Software
Expert in Clustering activities like Redhat, Veritas Cluster
Implement security patches - Automated implementation and manual implementation
Back out security patches Bundle and perform Level 4 Support Unix Operating system
Modify Platform automation and support Script
Develop and modify application Failover Scripts
