The opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IICS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). This role requires strong expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and automation, with a focus on performance optimization and secure data handling. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable data pipelines that support business-critical applications.

 

Key skills required for the role (Primary):

• Integration Development:

Design, develop, and deploy IICS mappings and tasks for structured and semi-structured data sources.

• Mass Ingestion Service (MIS):

Implement MIS for high-volume, real-time, and batch ingestion of files, databases, and streaming data.

• Security Configuration:

Configure and manage Secure Shell (SSH) and PGP keys in Linux environments to ensure secure file transfers and encryption/decryption processes.

• Reusable Components:

Develop parameterized mappings, taskflows, and reusable connections to promote modularity and maintainability.

• Advanced Data Transformations:

Build complex transformations including joins, aggregations, lookups, expressions, filters, and routers, ensuring optimal performance.

• Technical Documentation:

Perform source-to-target data mapping and prepare comprehensive design documentation and technical specifications.

• Pipeline Monitoring & Optimization:

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high availability, robust error handling, and performance tuning.

• Incremental Load & CDC:

Implement incremental load strategies, Change Data Capture (CDC), and data synchronization across diverse systems.

• DevOps Collaboration:

Work closely with DevOps teams to support automation initiatives including Git integration and CI/CD deployments.

• Knowledge Sharing:

Provide technical documentation, operational runbooks, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to enable support and continuity.

• Need to have 5 -7 years of Experience
