Job Description
drives revenue growth by recruiting, training, and managing a team of insurance agents or channel partners. Key responsibilities include hitting sales targets, fostering agent productivity, and implementing business strategies in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector, usually focusing on local market penetration. Core Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Identify, recruit, and onboard new high-caliber insurance agents.
- Training & Mentorship: Conduct training sessions on products, sales skills, and regulatory compliance.
- Sales Target Achievement: Set monthly/quarterly sales targets for the agency team and ensure achievement.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate agent performance, providing ongoing coaching to enhance productivity.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with agents to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
- Business Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies and localized action plans. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree .
- Experience: Generally 1-5 years of experience in any sales.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills;
