Multi Speciality Extrusions Private Limited is a manufacturing unit engaged in the production

of PVC films through the blown film extrusion process, operating across three distinct product

segments — PVC Shrink, PVC Lamination, and PVC Soft — with an annual turnover of

approximately INR 50 Crores and a total workforce of 98+ employees.

Position: Plant Manager / Operations Manager

Location: Manufacturing Plant (with periodic travel to Delhi NCR and other parts of India for

customer visits) Reporting To: Director / CEO / Managing Director Department: Plant

Operations

Job Purpose

To manage the end-to-end operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth day-to-day

functioning across three distinct product segments, each with its own team, market, and quality

requirements. The role carries full accountability for plant output, cost control, wastage

reduction, and overall profitability, while also engaging directly with customers when required.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production Management

- Oversee daily operations of the blown film extrusion manufacturing process across all

three product segments (PVC Shrink, PVC Lamination, PVC Soft).

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day operational and production issues promptly

to minimize downtime.

- Ensure production schedules are met across segments while balancing differing team

structures, workflows, and priorities.

- Drive standardization of processes, materials, and practices across the different product

segments wherever feasible, while respecting segment-specific requirements.

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

- Lead and coordinate multiple teams handling entirely different product lines, markets,

and customer bases.

- Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across segment teams while maintaining

segment-specific focus and accountability.

- Build a culture of ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement among plant staff

(100+ manpower).

Quality Management

- Take ownership of quality issues arising in production and drive root-cause analysis and

corrective action.

- Ensure each product segment meets its specific quality parameters and customer

specifications.

- Implement quality control systems and checks to reduce rejections and rework.

Cost, Wastage & Profitability

- Take full responsibility for plant output, productivity, and efficiency.

- Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including maintenance costs and material

wastage.

- Drive initiatives to improve overall plant profitability through cost optimization and

process efficiency.

- Track and report key operational metrics (output, downtime, wastage %, maintenance

spend, etc.) to management.

Maintenance

- Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery to minimize

production disruption.

- Manage maintenance budgets and vendor/contractor coordination for upkeep of

equipment.

Customer Engagement

- Interact with customers to understand requirements, address quality or delivery

concerns, and maintain strong working relationships.

- Undertake customer visits in Delhi NCR and other parts of India as required to support

sales, resolve issues, or strengthen relationships.

Key Requirements

Compensation

- Salary: INR 6,00,000 – 12,00,000 per annum, depending on experience, knowledge,

and candidate's skills.

Experience & Knowledge

- Proven experience in a plant/operations management role within PVC film manufacturing

or blown film extrusion, or a closely related plastics/polymer processing industry.

- Strong technical understanding of the blown film extrusion process.

- Experience managing multi-product / multi-segment manufacturing operations with

different teams and markets is highly preferred.

- Sound knowledge of standardization practices across different product lines.

Skills

- Strong problem-solving ability with a hands-on approach to daily operational issues.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with

customers.

- Strong people management skills to lead diverse teams across different segments.

- Analytical mindset with a focus on cost control, wastage reduction, and profitability.

- Willingness to travel for customer visits as required.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Education: B.Tech (Mandatory) — preferably in Mechanical, Plastics, Polymer, or

Production Engineering.

- Age: 40–45 years.

- Experience: Minimum 15 years of plant operations experience, preferably in PVC film

manufacturing, blown film extrusion, or a related plastics/polymer processing industry.

- Maintenance cost as a percentage of output

- Quality complaint resolution turnaround
