Project Manager Civil

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a proven track record of leading complex engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage large-scale projects from concept through completion. This role involves guiding project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Job Description:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site construction activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and established quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve on-site challenges.
• Monitor material consumption, control inventory, and implement effective measures to minimize wastage.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project timelines to meet deadlines and project milestones.
• Inspect and ensure quality, and verify the completion of work as per standards.
• Handle quantity measurements, Create billing processes, and verify BOQs for accuracy.
• Ensure that machinery and other movable assets are properly maintained and in optimal working condition.
• Identify, and resolve site-related issues proactively to avoid delays and ensure project continuity.
• Ensure site discipline and strict adherence to industry codes, standards, and safety regulations during all project phases.
• Prepare weekly micro-schedules to track work progress and ensure smooth, simultaneous execution of all site activities.
• Follow up, maintain, and update all essential site records, including the Site Order Book, Measurement Book (M-Book), Checklists, BBS, DPR, DLR, Sub-contractor Register, and Site Testing Register.
• Allocate labor and subcontractors on a shift-wise basis according to daily work requirements and prepare accurate labor bills.
• Calculate expenses as per BOQ rates and ensure that all project activities are completed within the approved and quoted cost limits.
• Coordinate effectively with site teams, subcontractors, and vendors while demonstrating strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Support overall project planning, monitoring, documentation, and cost control to ensure timely and quality execution of work.

Skills:

• A formal accreditation or qualification in engineering or a relevant field.
• Excellent time management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• A good track record of successful project management and supervision.
• The capacity to work with multi-disciplined teams and projects.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Diploma or Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in project management, construction, or site supervision.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
