Job Overview:

We are looking for a Fleet Operations Executive – Electric Bus Operations to manage and oversee daily electric bus fleet operations at our Tirupati base. The role involves handling intercity EV bus services, charging coordination, vehicle deployment, crew management, uptime monitoring, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations with high operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day electric bus fleet operations
• Ensure timely departure and arrival of buses as per schedules
• Coordinate with drivers, charging staff, maintenance teams, and ground operations teams
• Monitor vehicle SOC (State of Charge), charging schedules, and charger availability
• Plan route deployment based on charging requirements and operational feasibility
• Monitor vehicle uptime, breakdowns, and downtime reduction
• Coordinate with EV charging infrastructure teams for smooth charging operations
• Ensure buses are operationally ready, clean, and properly maintained before deployment
• Handle trip planning, route allocation, and fleet utilization
• Track operational data including charging consumption, energy efficiency, and fleet performance
• Coordinate with OEM/service partners for repairs and technical support
• Handle on-ground operational issues, delays, and escalation management
• Ensure compliance with permits, safety norms, and operational SOPs

Requirements:

• 2–5 years experience in fleet operations, preferably in electric mobility, buses, logistics, or transport operations
• Prior experience in electric bus operations or EV fleet management is a strong advantage
• Basic understanding of EV charging systems, battery management, and charging operations
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage drivers, charging staff, and operational teams
• Comfortable with Excel, operational MIS, and reporting
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle field operations
• Knowledge of intercity operations and fixed-route fleet deployment preferred

Preferred Candidate:

• Experience with electric buses, EV charging operations, or mobility aggregators
• Hands-on operational experience in fleet deployment and charging coordination
• Ability to work under pressure and manage real-time operational challenges
• Experience in managing uptime-focused commercial EV operations will be preferred
