Job Description
Post: Strapping Machine Operator.
Qualification: Graduation Not required. (SSLC/ITI/Diploma/PUC/Graduation can apply).
Number of Vacancies: 05.
Languages preferred: Kannada/English/Hindi.
Job Location: Sira, Tumkur. (Karnataka State)
Preferred: Male Candidate only.
Joining: Immediately.
runs and tends automated or semi-automated equipment to secure plastic or metal straps around boxes, products, or pallets. Their main goal is to ensure items are safely bound for shipping and storage while maintaining high production speed and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities.
· Operate Equipment: Feed goods into automatic or semi-automatic strapping systems.
· Adjust Settings: Set proper strap tension, alignment, and seal parameters for different product sizes.
· Quality Control: Inspect finished bundles to confirm straps are tight, secure, and undamaged.
· Material Handling: Load new rolls of plastic or steel strapping material and clear minor jams.
· Routine Maintenance: Clean parts, check tensioner and cutter components, and report major machine faults.
Skills and Qualifications.
· Mechanical
Know-how: Basic ability to troubleshoot and run packaging machinery.
· Physical
Fitness: Capability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy packages or materials.
· Safety
Focus: Strict adherence to factory safety rules and proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Attention
to Detail: Checking correct tension levels so goods do not shift or break in transit.
Facility: I) Free Food and Accommodation facility provided.
