Job Description – Stockist (Retail Garment Store)

Stockist / Inventory Executive

Udaipur, Rajasthan

Role Overview:

The Stockist will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring proper storage, and supporting smooth day-to-day retail operations. The role demands attention to detail, discipline, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate stock records (inward & outward entries)

• Handle stock receiving, checking, and tagging

• Ensure proper storage and arrangement of garments

• Conduct regular stock audits / physical verification

• Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving items

• Coordinate with sales team for stock availability

• Manage returns, damages, and discrepancies

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in stock area

• Assist in billing or floor support during rush hours (if needed)

Skills Required:

• Strong attention to detail

• knowledge of inventory management

• Familiarity with Excel / billing software

• Good organizational skills

• Ability to handle physical stock efficiently

• Detail Oriented, disciplined, and responsible nature

• Basic communication skills (English required)

Experience:

• 1–3 years experience in retail stock handling (garments preferred)

• Experinced strong discipline & willingness to learn can also be considered

• Preferred: Graduate (any stream)

• 25 to 40 years

Salary Range (Udaipur Market Standard):

• ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

• Experienced candidate: up to 2 Years

Working Hours:

• As per retail store timing (10 AM – 9 PM typical)
