Procurement Manager

About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to manage procurement, vendor relationships, inventory, and warehouse operations for our furniture manufacturing business. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, excellent coordination abilities, and experience in procurement planning and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities,

Procurement & Sourcing

• Manage the complete procurement process from requirement to delivery.
• Plan and execute project-wise procurement as per approved product designs and budgets.
• Create Purchase Orders and Service Orders in the ERP system.
• Obtain multiple quotations and negotiate the best prices.
• Ensure procurement follows company SOPs and approval processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prevent production delays due to material shortages.
• Manage timely and cost-effective local purchases.

Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain reliable supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries, invoices, quality issues, and payments.
• Continuously identify cost-saving opportunities.

Inventory & Warehouse

• Maintain organized warehouse and store operations.
• Conduct monthly stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor daily material movement records.
• Coordinate with production to track work-in-progress and finished goods.
• Track purchase orders, material in transit, and deliveries.
• Ensure inventory aligns with BOMs and production schedules.

Quality & Documentation

• Perform basic quality checks of incoming materials.
• Report and resolve raw material quality issues promptly.
• Maintain procurement documents, drawings, approvals, and project records.
• Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports on procurement, inventory, supplier purchases, and project-wise material consumption.
• Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Experience in manufacturing or furniture industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under deadlines.
