Crane Operator

Ø Key Responsibilities

•    Ensure smooth quay-side operations by maintaining high levels of safety & productivity.

•    Conduct pre-shift inspections to ensure cranes are safe and fully operational.

•    Operate quay cranes and/or mobile cranes in line with operational procedures.

•    Position cranes safely on vessels as per instructions from supervisors and vessel teams.

•    Execute loading & discharge operations in coordination with hatchmen/supervisors.

•    Ensure all container handling is performed safely and efficiently.

•    Report any cargo or vessel damage immediately.

•    Maintain cleanliness of crane cabins and equipment.

•    Operate additional container handling equipment where required.

•    Support quay operations and perform additional duties as needed.

•    Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies & procedures.

•    Ensure safe crane operations at all times

•    Report any safety incidents, hazards, or non-compliance immediately.

Ø Candidate Requirements

•    High School Certificate or equivalent 

•    Minimum 2 years’ experience operating quay cranes or mobile cranes within a container terminal or port environment.

•    Ready to work in shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays

•    Should be able to speak in Hindi & understand English

•    Experience working with Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) is preferred (e.g., NAVIS, MACH, or similar)
