Safety Supervisor

Job Summary - A Safety Engineer is responsible for identifying workplace hazards, developing safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and promoting a safe working environment. The role involves risk assessment, incident investigation, safety audits, and implementation of preventive measures to reduce accidents and occupational hazards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety inspections.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry safety regulations.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare safety reports, documentation, and compliance records.
• Organize safety training programs and emergency drills for employees.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and regulatory authorities on safety matters.
• Perform safety audits and recommend improvements.
• Review engineering designs and operational processes for safety compliance.
• Maintain emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Safety Management.
