Role & responsibilities
Senior Design Engineering (Mechanical)
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the creation, review, and approval of engineering drawings, ensuring seamless execution from design to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert assembly drawings of proprietary equipment like Rotary Air Locks, Belt Conveyor Pulleys, and Idlers into individual component manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare comprehensive packages including GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Review drawings to ensure high accuracy before final release.
- Secure customer approval for engineering drawings prior to production.
- Liaise with manufacturing and project teams to resolve shop-floor technical doubts.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of solid experience in the same field.
- Technical Skills: Expert in Auto CAD Mechanical and Solid works.
- Blueprints: Advanced expertise in reading, interpreting, and creating complex assembly drawings.
- Soft Skills: Strong coordination skills to bridge the gap between design, customers, and manufacturing teams.
