Automotive Service Advisor

As a Car Advisor, you will be the dedicated point of contact for a set of Vroomy customers. You will understand their car problems, diagnose issues, coordinate with our partner garages, monitor work quality, keep customers updated, and ensure a smooth, transparent experience from first call to after-service follow-up. You will also appear in short videos (reels, explainers, tips) as a Vroomy Advisor, helping build customer trust through educational content.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated Personal Car Advisor for assigned customers — handle their queries on calls and WhatsApp

• Understand and diagnose car issues (mechanical, electrical, AC, suspension, denting-painting, servicing, tyres, battery, etc.) and recommend and guide the right solution.

• Coordinate with partner garages, follow up on progress, verify quality of work, and ensure fair, transparent pricing

• Keep customers informed at every stage — diagnosis, estimate, work updates, delivery, and afterservice follow-up

• Guide customers on new car purchases, used car sales/valuation, and insurance (new policies, renewals, claims) • Handle emergency support requests (breakdown, towing) calmly and quickly

• Appear on camera in Vroomy's social media videos as a Vroomy Advisor — car care tips, myth-busting, seasonal advice, and explainers (scripts and editing support will be provided)

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle service history in our CRM.

• Coordinate with the team and help convert the leads, including calling and follow-ups.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in the automobile industry (service advisor, workshop advisor, sales consultant, insurance/claims, or similar roles)

• Strong technical understanding of cars — able to explain problems and solutions in simple language customers can trust

• Excellent spoken English, along with Hindi and/or Gujarati

• Comfortable and confident on camera — willing to feature in short videos as a Vroomy Advisor (prior video experience is a plus, not mandatory)

• Customer-first attitude: patient, honest, and good at building long-term relationships

• Familiarity with WhatsApp Business, CRM tools, or workshop software is a plus

• Based in Vadodara or willing to relocate

• Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred
