Civil Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman with experience in marine infrastructure and oil & gas projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings, reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules (BBS), piling layouts, and construction drawings for large infrastructure projects including jetties, revetments, berths, tank farms, pipelines, and marine structures.

The role requires strong knowledge of structural and marine construction drawings, coordination with engineering teams, and ensuring drawings are compliant with project specifications and standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed construction drawings for marine and oil & gas infrastructure projects.
• Develop GA drawings, detailed shop drawings, and as-built drawings for:
• Marine structures (jetties, dolphins, trestles, revetments)
• Piling works (bored piles, driven piles, pile caps, pile sleeves)
• Structural foundations and equipment foundations
• Tank farm infrastructure and pipeline supports
• Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for slabs, beams, pile caps, pile muffs, and structural elements.
• Produce reinforcement detailing in accordance with structural drawings and project specifications.
• Generate piling layout drawings and pile cage detailing.
• Prepare fabrication drawings for steel structures such as gangways, platforms, pipe racks, and handrails.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and marine engineers to incorporate design updates.
• Revise drawings based on site instructions, RFIs, and design modifications.
• Maintain proper drawing registers and revision control.
• Assist project teams with quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site measurements and changes.
• Required QualificationsDiploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or Drafting.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in drafting for marine, oil & gas, or large infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in piling drawings, marine structures, and reinforcement detailing.
• Technical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of structural detailing and reinforcement detailing.
• Experience preparing BBS and quantity extraction from drawings.
• Familiarity with marine construction drawings and piling layouts.
• Understanding of construction methodologies for marine and oil & gas infrastructure.
• Experience with 3D tools (SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is an advantage.

• Oil terminal infrastructure
• Tank farms and pipelines
• Heavy foundations and piling works
