Fitter Technician

A Fitter Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. The role ensures smooth operation of machines by performing routine maintenance, identifying faults, and carrying out necessary repairs.

• Key Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical components and equipment as per technical drawings and specifications
• Perform fitting, alignment, and installation of machinery and parts
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspection of machines and equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments efficiently
• Ensure proper lubrication, cleaning, and upkeep of machinery
• Follow safety standards and company procedures during all operations
• Assist in dismantling and reassembling equipment when required
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Required Skills & Qualifications:ITI (Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail
• Knowledge of safety practices in industrial environments

Experience: 5–6 years of experience in fitting, maintenance, or manufacturing (preferred)
