Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team at Vadodara Gas Ltd. The role involves ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of mechanical systems and equipment within our gas distribution network. Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in daily operations and maintenance of mechanical equipment in gas distribution systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Support senior engineers in managing mechanical assets, pipelines, compressors, and valves.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation.
- Participate in emergency response and corrective maintenance activities.
- QualificationsEducation: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Freshers and up to 2 years of experience welcome).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
- Basic understanding of O&M practices in industrial or utility sectors preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in field operations and rotational shifts if required.
