Job Description
Role Purpose
The Project Manager (PM) at NielsenIQ (NIQ) is responsible for driving end-to-end
delivery of client and internal transformation projects across regions. The PM ensures
alignment with NIQ’s Global Delivery Model (GDM), PMO governance standards, and
strategic business priorities while delivering measurable value, operational efficiency,
and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across NIQ portfolios including customer delivery,
- transformation, and productivity initiatives
- Develop project charters, integrated project plans, and milestone tracking aligned with PMO
- standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Commercial, Finance, Technology, and
- Data teams)
- Drive stakeholder alignment across regional and global leadership
- Ensure adherence to NIQ PMO governance including stage gates, documentation, and audit
- compliance
- Track and deliver project KPIs including revenue impact, productivity savings, and margin
- improvement
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations across global delivery hubs
- Drive resource planning and optimization across markets (onshore/offshore mix)
- Lead regular governance forums (weekly reviews, SteerCos, ELT updates)
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- PMO & Governance Alignment
- Follow NIQ PMO frameworks including project lifecycle, stage-gate approvals, and
- standardized templates
- Maintain centralized trackers (RAID logs, milestone trackers, financial trackers)
- Ensure reporting cadence through dashboards (Excel/Power BI) and leadership summaries
- Drive accountability through clear RACI and ownership models
- Support portfolio-level reporting and governance reviews
- Stakeholder & Client Management
- Serve as primary interface between business, operations, and clients
- Manage stakeholder expectations through structured communication
- Present project updates to senior leadership and clients
- Drive issue resolution with cross-functional alignment
- Financial & Business Impact
- Own project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Drive productivity and cost optimization initiatives (e.g., location strategy, automation, AI
- adoption)
- Track business impact including revenue enablement and cost savings
- Support business case development and value realization tracking
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- PMP Certified
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in global/matrix organizations
- Experience in market research, FMCG, data analytics, or shared services preferred
- Strong exposure to PMO environments and transformation programs
- Proven experience managing cross-regional stakeholders
