Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking a Relationship Manager to join our TASC & INSTITUTIONAL BUSINESS team. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored financial solutions and driving business growth.
As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key clients, primarily focusing on TASC (Third-Party Fund Managers) and institutional businesses. Your role will involve understanding client needs, offering tailored financial products and services, and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure a seamless client experience and contribute to the overall growth and success of the bank's business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with TASC and institutional clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
- Offer tailored financial solutions, including investment products, banking services, and wealth management strategies, to meet client objectives.
- Proactively identify business opportunities and cross-sell/up-sell Kotak Mahindra Bank's products and services to existing and potential clients.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry regulations, and competitor activities to provide relevant and timely advice to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development, operations, and compliance, to ensure smooth execution of client transactions and requests.
- Monitor and analyze client portfolios, providing regular performance updates and offering strategic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies, maintaining the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Participate in business development activities, including client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities, to expand the bank's client base.
- Provide excellent customer service, promptly addressing client queries and concerns, and ensuring a positive and professional client experience.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in relationship management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, services, and market trends, with the ability to offer tailored solutions to clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach and a track record of building long-lasting relationships.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on understanding client needs and offering appropriate financial advice.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously, ensuring a high level of organization and time management.
- Proficiency in using banking software and systems, as well as MS Office applications, for efficient client management and reporting.
- A self-starter with a proactive mindset, who can identify business opportunities and drive growth.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
