Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, senior Sales & Marketing professional to drive AYKKA's growth across residential and commercial rooftop solar segments. This is a high-impact, numbers-driven role for someone who can build pipeline, close deals, lead a sales team, and position AYKKA as a trusted solar EPC brand in Gujarat. The ideal candidate combines hands-on selling ability with the strategic vision to take the business to its next stage of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

•     Own and deliver monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets across residential and commercial rooftop solar segments

•     Build and manage a strong lead pipeline through direct outreach, channel partners, referrals, and digital campaigns

•     Lead client meetings, site visits, and techno-commercial presentations to convert leads into signed contracts

•     Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts in coordination with the technical and finance teams

•     Identify and develop new business opportunities in housing societies, commercial complexes, and industrial clients

•     Track competitor pricing, offerings, and market positioning to refine AYKKA's value proposition

Marketing & Brand Building

•     Plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital, print, on-ground) to generate qualified leads

•     Manage AYKKA's presence on LinkedIn, Google, and other relevant platforms in coordination with external agencies/vendors

•     Represent AYKKA at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to build brand visibility

•     Develop marketing collateral, case studies, and client testimonials to support the sales process

•     Work with leadership on pricing strategy, offers, and seasonal promotions to drive volume

Channel & Partnership Development

•     Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners, dealers, and referral networks to expand market reach

•     Build relationships with real estate developers, architects, and facility managers for project referrals

•     Support tender and bid opportunities with commercial inputs and client relationship management

Team Leadership & Reporting

•     Lead, mentor, and grow a team of sales executives/telecallers as the business scales

•     Maintain accurate CRM records, sales funnel reports, and conversion metrics

•     Provide regular sales MIS and forecasts to leadership, including win/loss analysis

•     Coordinate closely with the execution and finance teams for smooth handover of closed deals

Required Qualifications & Skills

•     Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred

•     5+ years of sales/business development experience, with at least 2-3 years in solar, EPC, real estate, or related high-value B2C/B2B sales

•     Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue numbers

•     Strong understanding of rooftop solar systems, ROI/payback calculations, and net-metering basics (or ability to learn quickly)

•     Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills

•     Comfortable with CRM tools, MS Excel/PowerPoint, and data-driven sales tracking

•     Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-scaling company environment

•     Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits

Preferred (Added Advantage)

•     Existing network among residential societies, commercial developers, or industrial clients in Gujarat

•     Prior experience leading or building a sales team from the ground up

•     Familiarity with government solar subsidy schemes and DISCOM/net-metering processes
