About the Role

CK INSTO Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated Technical Compliance & Quality Engineer to ensure that every testing machine manufactured by the company complies with customer requirements and applicable national/international standards.

The candidate will act as the technical bridge between Sales, Design, Production, Service, and Customers by interpreting standards, verifying machine functionality, conducting quality inspections, preparing technical documentation, and supporting customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Inspection

• Perform final quality inspection of every machine before dispatch.
• Carry out in-process quality checks during machine assembly.
• Verify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software functionality of machines.
• Ensure machines meet internal quality standards and customer specifications.
• Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions with the production team.

Standards Compliance

• Study and interpret national and international standards such as IS, IEC, UL, ASTM, ISO, EN, etc.
• Verify that machine design and functionality comply with the applicable standards.
• Stay updated with revisions, amendments, and new editions of standards.
• Suggest necessary design or process changes whenever standards are updated.

Customer Requirement Analysis

• Participate in technical discussions with Sales and Customers.
• Understand customer requirements in detail before project execution.
• Convert customer requirements into technical checkpoints.
• Ensure no customer requirement is missed during manufacturing.
• Explain technical solutions and machine functionality to customers whenever required.

Cross Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Service, and Sales departments.
• Clarify technical requirements during project execution.
• Resolve technical ambiguities before manufacturing begins.

Documentation

• Prepare detailed Quality Inspection Reports (QC Reports).
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare compliance checklists.
• Maintain quality records and technical documentation.
• Prepare customer acceptance documentation whenever required.

Technical Support

• Resolve customer technical queries regarding machine operation and standards.
• Assist Service Engineers during installation and commissioning.
• Conduct technical training sessions for the Service Team.
• Explain machine operation and standard requirements to Service team and customers whenever necessary.

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor quality trends and recommend process improvements.
• Develop standard inspection procedures.
• Improve documentation systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Testing Equipment, Industrial Automation, or Machine Manufacturing.
• Fresh candidates with excellent knowledge of standards and strong technical aptitude may also apply.

Required Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Understanding of PLC/HMI-based industrial machines.
• Knowledge of industrial components such as sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, pneumatic systems, and motors.
• Understanding of quality inspection methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Systems will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with IEC, IS, UL, ASTM, ISO, and other international standards is preferred.
• Good report writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
