Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Business Head to lead the company’s complete sales, dealer network, collections, marketing strategy and day-to-day business operations.

The selected candidate will work directly with the Managing Director and act as the second leadership face of the organisation. The entire sales team will report to him.

The Managing Director will primarily focus on purchasing and strategic decisions, while the Business Head will be responsible for sales execution, team management, dealer development, collections, market expansion and operational coordination.

  • Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the complete sales team.
  • Set monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Review sales performance of every employee and territory.
  • Handle and expand the company’s dealer and distributor network.
  • Develop new dealers and strengthen existing dealer relationships.
  • Monitor dealer-wise sales, outstanding payments and account statements.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for collections and overdue payments.
  • Prepare and execute marketing and market-development strategies.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
  • Monitor market prices, competitor activities and dealer schemes.
  • Develop strategies for retail, project and institutional sales.
  • Ensure proper coordination between sales, accounts, dispatch and management.
  • Recruit, train and motivate sales team members.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly business reports for the Managing Director.
  • Represent the organisation in front of dealers, customers and industry partners.
  • Take responsibility for business growth, collections and team productivity.
  • Reduce dependency on the Managing Director for routine sales and operational decisions.

Required Industry ExperienceCandidates must have relevant experience in any of the following industries:

  • Steel and TMT
  • Cement
  • Pipes and roofing sheets
  • Construction materials
  • Building materials
  • Hardware or allied distribution businesses
  • Required SkillsStrong dealer and distributor network management.
  • Excellent sales leadership and team-management skills.
  • Strong understanding of account statements and receivables.
  • Experience in collections and credit-control follow-ups.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare and execute marketing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of the Varanasi and Eastern Uttar Pradesh market.
  • Ability to lead a large sales team independently.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in Excel, email and business reporting.
  • Professional personality with strong leadership presence.

EducationMBA, PGDM or postgraduate qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business Management preferred.

Experienced graduates with a strong record in the steel, construction or building-material industry may also apply.

  • Preferred Candidate ProfileMarried male candidate.
  • Currently residing in Varanasi.
  • Strong local market and dealer-network knowledge.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant sales and leadership experience.
  • Stable employment history.
  • Capable of becoming a visible and trusted face of the organisation.
  • Interested in a long-term senior leadership position.
