Job Description
The Field Sales Designer will be responsible for meeting prospective customers at their homes/sites, understanding requirements, providing modular kitchen design solutions, preparing quotations, and closing sales. The role requires both sales ability and basic design knowledge (2D/3D).
- Visit customer premises for measurement, requirement gathering & demonstration.
- Understand customer lifestyle, layout and space utilization for kitchen planning.
- Present design concepts & material options (e.g., laminates, acrylic, hardware, accessories).
- Coordinate with internal design team for drawings, renders & BOQ.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and execute order closing.
- Follow up with customers for decision-making and payments.
- Coordinate with production & installation teams for project execution.
- Maintain CRM records, site survey data & reports.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Skills & CompetenciesKnowledge of modular kitchen layouts (Straight / L-shape / U-shape / Island)
- Understanding of materials, finishes, hardware & accessories
- Basic measurement skills (using measuring tapes, laser meter, etc.)
- Good communication & persuasion skills
- Customer handling
- Design understanding (AutoCAD/SketchUp/2D/3D preferred)
- Market awareness & competitor knowledge
- Time management & site coordination skills
