Job Description

The Sales Executive is the primary driver of Madmax Energy’s Drink presence in the market. You will be responsible for two main pillars: ensuring our Distributors are stocked and motivated, and ensuring our Retailers (shops, gyms, marts) are actively selling and displaying the product. Your goal is to increase "Depth" (selling more to current shops) and "Width" (finding new shops).

  • Core Responsibilities1. Distributor Management (The Backend)Inventory Control: Conduct weekly stock audits at the distributor warehouse to prevent "Stock-Out" situations.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ensure the distributor dispatches retail orders within 24 hours of the booking.
  • Payment Collection: Manage the credit cycle and ensure timely payment collection from distributors to the company.
  • Onboarding: Identify and vet potential new distributors in unrepresented territories.
  • 2. Retail & Market Management (The Front-end)Beat Mapping: Follow a fixed daily route (PJP - Permanent Journey Plan) to visit 30–40 retail outlets per day.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong ties with shop owners to ensure Madmax is their "preferred" energy drink recommendation.
  • New Outlet Expansion: Convert non-selling outlets (General stores, kiosks, HoReCa) into active Madmax stockists.
  • Visibility (Merchandising): Secure the "Eye-Level" position on shelves. Ensure coolers are branded and POS (Point of Sale) stickers are visible.
  • 3. Data & StrategySecondary Sales Tracking: Report daily sales figures via the company app/portal.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Keep a sharp eye on Red Bull, Monster, or local competitors' schemes and report them to the manager.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Your success will be measured by:

  • Total Volume Sold: Monthly cases vs. Target.
  • Line Cut: The average number of different Madmax SKUs (flavors/sizes) sold per shop.
  • Effective Coverage: The percentage of shops in your territory that placed an order this month.
  • Range Selling: Ensuring new flavors are placed alongside the original bestseller.
  • Requirements & QualificationsExperience: 1+ years in FMCG/Beverage sales (e.g., Pepsi, Coke, Bisleri, or snack brands).
  • Communication: Fluent in the local language; basic English for reporting.
  • Tools: Proficient in using WhatsApp for business and Sales Force Automation (SFA) apps.

Physical Stamina: This is a 90% field-based role involving significant travel within the assigned territory.
