Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Hotel Operations ManagementOversee day-to-day hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and Guest Services.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all hotel departments.
- Monitor service standards and maintain operational efficiency.
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through proactive service management.
- 2. Guest Experience & Customer ServiceMaintain high levels of guest satisfaction and service quality.
- Address guest complaints, concerns, and special requests promptly.
- Monitor online reviews and implement improvement plans.
- Develop guest retention and loyalty initiatives.
- Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all guests.
- 3. Financial ManagementPrepare and manage annual budgets and departmental expenses.
- Monitor revenue, occupancy rates, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR.
- Control operational costs while maintaining service quality.
- Review financial reports and implement profitability strategies.
- Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and financial controls.
- 4. Team Leadership & Human Resource ManagementRecruit, train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and employee development programs.
- Ensure proper workforce planning and scheduling.
- Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- 5. Sales & Business DevelopmentDevelop strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
- Support marketing and promotional activities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- 6. Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with local laws, hospitality regulations, labor laws, and health & safety requirements.
- Maintain licenses, permits, and statutory records.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections.
- Ensure implementation of emergency response and security procedures.
- 7. Housekeeping & Facility ManagementEnsure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards throughout the property.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Monitor vendor and contractor performance.
- Ensure facilities meet guest expectations and brand standards.
- 8. Food & Beverage CoordinationMonitor restaurant, banquet, and room service operations.
- Ensure food quality, hygiene, and service standards.
- Coordinate special events, conferences, and banquets.
- Monitor inventory and procurement processes.
