About Ralsonics Ralsonics is a premier manufacturer of highly engineered ultrasonic cleaning and industrial surface treatment systems. We build precision equipment that solves complex cleaning challenges for top-tier industrial clients.

The Role We are seeking a commercially astute and technically sound Design & Estimation Engineer to act as the vital bridge between our Sales and Design departments. Reporting directly to the Design Head, you will be the first technical mind to touch a new customer inquiry. Your primary objective is to translate a client’s raw requirements into a fully costed, technically viable solution complete with spatial layouts, enabling our sales team to present winning commercial offers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Specification Generation: Analyze incoming sales inquiries and define the exact technical specifications (tank sizes, ultrasonic power, material grades, filtration needs) required to solve the client's problem.
  • Precise Cost Estimation: Break down the proposed system into its fundamental components to generate accurate, baseline manufacturing costs (materials, bought-out components, labor) to protect company margins.
  • AutoCAD Layout Creation: Draft conceptual 2D general arrangement (GA) and facility layouts in AutoCAD to visualize the proposed machine for the client and confirm spatial feasibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide rapid feedback loops to the Sales team regarding technical feasibility and pricing, while ensuring the final proposed concepts align with the manufacturing capabilities of the Design team.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in applications engineering, design estimation, or technical proposals (capital equipment or industrial machinery experience is a strong advantage).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D layout creation is mandatory; basic 3D knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of manufacturing costs, sheet metal pricing, and standard industrial components.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: ₹3,50,000 to ₹6,00,000 CTC per annum (Commensurate with experience and estimation accuracy).
  • Location: Vasai, Maharashtra.
  • Schedule: Full-Time.
