Summary:

The Junior Quality Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring product quality at every stage of the manufacturing process within the gas industry. This role involves conducting inspections, maintaining quality records, supporting senior supervisors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key

Responsibilities:

·        Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products in line with gas industry standards.

·        Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare daily quality reports.

·        Support senior quality supervisors in identifying quality issues, non-conformities, and corrective/preventive actions.

·        Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ISO standards, and safety guidelines during production.

·        Monitor rework, rejection, and deviations; provide timely feedback to operators and production staff.

·        Verify calibration of measuring tools and instruments before use; report calibration requirements.

·        Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and improve process efficiency.

·        Maintain 5S workplace discipline and uphold safety standards within the quality control area.

·        Assist in internal and external audits related to quality and compliance.

Qualifications

& Skills:

·        Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

·        1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control, preferably in the manufacturing or gas industry.

·        Knowledge of quality inspection methods, measuring instruments, and calibration requirements.

·        Familiarity with ISO standards, safety practices, and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.

·        Strong attention to detail, documentation, and reporting skills.

·        Good communication and teamwork abilities.
