Job Description
ROLE
Responsible for supervising daily production, managing workers, maintaining quality, and ensuring smooth workflow on the shop floor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Production Management
· Plan and execute daily production (GRC panels, FRP items, molds, etc.).
· Assign tasks based on priority and deadlines.
· Ensure targets are completed on time.
2. Manpower Supervision
· Manage and control workers on the shop floor.
· Ensure attendance, discipline, and productivity.
· Train new workers on basic processes.
3. Worker Relations
· Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with workers.
· Ensure clear communication of instructions.
4. Quality Control
· Check work at different stages of production.
· Ensure correct mix, curing, finishing, and final output.
· Identify defects and ensure correction.
5. Material Management
· Monitor usage of cement, sand, chemicals, fiberglass, and resins.
· Control wastage and misuse.
· Inform management about shortages.
6. Process Monitoring
· Ensure proper sequence: mixing, casting, curing, finishing.
· Reduce delays and idle time.
7. Equipment Handling
· Ensure proper use of tools, molds, and machines.
· Report breakdowns immediately.
8. Safety Oversight
· Ensure workers follow safety practices.
· Prevent unsafe handling of materials and machinery.
9. Reporting
· Maintain daily production records.
· Report output, delays, and issues to management.
WORK CONDITIONS
· factory based role.
· Requires continuous supervision and movement.
· May require extended working hours.
REQUIREMENTS
· 2-5 years experience in GRC / FRP / construction / manufacturing.
· Ability to manage labor effectively.
· Basic knowledge of production processes.
· Strong control with balanced communication.
KEY EXPECTATIONS
· Meet production targets with consistent quality.
· Maintain discipline without creating conflict.
· Ensure smooth coordination between workers and management.
