Job Description
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Access Control: Authorize entry and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles, specifically managing log-ins for shipping trucks and vendors.
- Patrols: Conduct regular, documented foot patrols of the warehouse, production areas, storage, and parking lots to detect signs of intrusion or safety hazards.
- Inventory Protection: Maintain a high level of vigilance against internal and external theft of finished goods or raw materials.
- Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems, perimeter alarms, and security systems to identify suspicious activity.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and fire regulations, including keeping fire exits clear.
- Reporting: Complete detailed daily reports and incident logs regarding observations, irregularities, and maintenance issues.
- Emergency Response: Serve as the first responder to security breaches, fire alarms, or medical incidents, liaising with law enforcement or emergency services.
