TIG Welder

1. Perform TIG Welding Operations

• Execute TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals as per project requirements.
• Ensure proper weld penetration, bead formation, and defect-free welding.
• Adjust machine settings (voltage, amperage, gas flow) based on material specifications.

2. Interpret Engineering Drawings & Welding Symbols

• Read and understand blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances before welding operations.

3.Quality Assurance & Inspection

• Conduct self-inspections to ensure adherence to welding quality standards.
• Rectify welding defects such as porosity, cracks, or incomplete fusion.
• Coordinate with QC personnel for inspections and approval.

4.Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage and handling of welding gases.
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards and company welding procedures.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

5.Material & Equipment Handling

• Properly set up and maintain TIG welding machines, torches, and gas cylinders.
• Ensure correct filler rod selection based on metal types and thickness.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment.

6.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with fabricators, fitters, and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
• Suggest process improvements for better efficiency and quality.
• Participate in training programs to enhance welding skills.
