Insurance Agent/Advisor

Job Summary:

A General Insurance Agent is responsible for selling and servicing insurance policies such as health, motor, travel, property, and business insurance. The role involves identifying customer needs, recommending suitable insurance products, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and approach potential clients through leads, references, and field visits

Explain various insurance products (health, motor, SME, travel, personal accident, etc.)

Recommend policies based on customer requirements and financial capacity

Generate new business and achieve sales targets

Assist customers in policy documentation and application process

Provide after-sales service including renewals and claim assistance

Maintain records of clients and policies

Stay updated on company products and industry regulations

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass (as per company norms)

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic knowledge of insurance products (training will be provided)

Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
