Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Solar Technician responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems including rooftop solar panels, solar pumping systems, and solar-powered motors across residential, commercial, and agricultural sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, commission, and maintain solar PV panels, inverters, batteries, and mounting structures
• Install and service solar water pumps and solar motors (AC/DC) for agricultural and industrial use
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Perform site surveys and assess feasibility before installation
• Connect solar systems to grid or off-grid setups safely and per standards
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in solar panels, charge controllers, inverters, and motors
• Ensure all installations comply with MNRE guidelines and local electrical codes
• Educate customers on system usage and basic maintenance
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
Experience1–4 years of hands-on experience in solar installation or electrical work
Technical Knowledge of solar PV systems, off-grid/on-grid setups Motors
Experience with solar motors and pumping systems (strong advantage)
SafetyAbility to work at heights and outdoor environments
License-Valid Electrician License preferred
