Job Description

The Solar Sales Telecaller is a front-line revenue-generating role within the Sales & Marketing team. The primary objective is to contact generated leads — individuals and businesses who have shown interest in solar panel installation — qualify their requirements, pitch Avion Green Astra's solar solutions, and convert them into confirmed site visits or closed sales. This is a target-driven, high-energy role that offers excellent incentive earning potential for performers.

 

03 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Lead Calling & Conversion

▪     Call 60–80 generated leads per day — residential, commercial, and industrial prospects

▪     Introduce Avion Green Astra Solar Energies and pitch solar panel installation solutions confidently

▪     Understand the customer's electricity consumption, property type, and budget to recommend the right solar product/package

▪     Explain the benefits of solar energy — savings on electricity bills, government subsidies, ROI, and environmental impact

▪     Convert interested leads into confirmed site survey appointments or direct sales closures

▪     Follow up consistently with warm leads until closure or disqualification

 

B. Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

▪     Build trust and rapport with prospects by offering clear, honest, and value-driven conversations

▪     Address customer doubts about solar investment, installation process, maintenance, and payback period

▪     Share information on PM Surya Ghar Yojana, MNRE subsidies, net metering, and DISCOM processes where relevant

▪     Send product brochures, price quotes, and company credentials via WhatsApp or email to interested customers

▪     Collect and verify key customer details: property ownership, electricity bill amount, roof availability, and preferred contact time

 

C. Pipeline & CRM Management

▪     Maintain accurate, real-time records of every lead interaction in the CRM / Excel tracker

▪     Tag leads correctly — Hot, Warm, Cold, Site Visit Scheduled, Closed Won, Closed Lost

▪     Share daily call reports with the Sales Manager including dials, conversations, and conversions

▪     Coordinate with the field sales and technical team to schedule and confirm site surveys

▪     Follow up post-site-visit to accelerate customer decision and order confirmation

 

D. Market Awareness & Self-Development

▪     Stay updated on Avion Green Astra's latest solar products, pricing, offers, and schemes

▪     Understand competitor offerings and communicate Avion Green Astra's unique value proposition

▪     Participate in daily sales briefings, product training sessions, and weekly performance reviews

▪     Continuously improve pitch quality based on team leader feedback and call audits

As a Solar Sales Telecaller at Avion Green Astra, you will be pitching and closing the following solar solutions:

 

▪     Residential Rooftop Solar Systems — 1 kW to 10 kW

▪     Commercial & Industrial Solar Installations — 10 kW to 1 MW+

▪     On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid Solar Systems

▪     Solar Water Heaters and Solar Pumps

▪     Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for existing solar systems

▪     Government subsidy-linked solar packages under PM Surya Ghar Yojana
