Stamping Machine Operator

Stamping operator/Molding Operator/Tooling Engineer/ Tooling Technician

To produce parts based on planning given by planner.

To do loading and unloading of Dies on machine based on production orders release by planner.

To do periodic inspection of product which is already defined as per quality check sheet.

To handle intrruptions during production and inform conecrned department for any support required from cross functional team

To ensure optimum resource utilization at all the stages of processes

Responsible for loading and unloading of the Dies as per planning given by priority given by the shift supervisor

Responsible for petrol inspection for production running as per defined frequency in quality check sheet.

Responsible to work very closely with Quality, Planning and RM handler to support the production as per provided planing

Responsible for intrruption handling on machine to control rejection and to ensure product quality.

Responsible to inform Die and machine maintenance engineer in case of any issue related to Die or machine.

Responsible to replace fillled reels to empty reels and filled reels to be moved to storage location.

Responsible to paste production lable on SPQ.

Responsible to clear previous rejected parts or layouts and clean the machines to maintain the 5S through out the organization

Responsible to do RM coil changeover with minimum time to utilize machine with maximum efficiency

Responsible to utilize all the resources in optimized way to reduce operational cost.

Responsible to co ordinate with RM handler for required material for the nect Die change over planned in respective shift.

Responsible to take part in Continual Improvement Initiatives to improve Stamping process

Responsible to support online packing activities in case of any online packing is needed

Responsible to do visual inspection of first and last piece before handed over to QA and inform Die or machine maintenance if any problem observed related to Die or machine.

Good knowledge of Stamping machine

Ability to understand daily production requirement

Good knowledge of current digital aspects including ERP SAP, MS office, printers etc.

Good understanding about Product and System certification like UL, CSA, CE, RoHS and ISO 9001,14001, TS 16949

Good understanding about optimum resource utilization

To optimize molding process based on best practice followed within industry.

To qualify all the new mold and molded parts as per scientific injection molding process.

To ensure optimum utilization of manpower and available resources.

To improve machine utilization and efficiency.

To improve product quality and to reduce in process rejection to reduce PPM level.

To prepare quality related documents eg. PFC, PFMEA, CP,WI for any new product introduced in molding.

Responsible to verify all the parts process parameters which are running on machine to ensure PPS is followed by molding team.

Responsible to co-ordinate with NPD team to get the required information from vendor for new mold and molded parts.

Resposible to co-ordinate with supervisor to get sorting rejection and sorting volume data to reduce NVA in Molding

Responsible to actively participate in Continual Improvement Initiatives to improve molding process

Responsible to improve each each area of Molding process to reduce operation cost.

Responsible to support Quality in case of any product quality improvement needed to reduce rejection.

Responsible to work with QA engineer to get FAR approval or FP approval in case of any new product or if any changes done in process / mold / machine.

Responsible to maintain the 5S through out the Molding department and lead the team to follow the same.

Responsible to create any new documents related to molding process

Responsible to work with CFT to standardize the process wherever possible.

Responsible to improve Machine efficiency as well as utilization with continual improvement in process.

To do change over of Dies

To do preventive maintanance of Dies

To do breakdown maintenance on machine and work table

To improve Die performance and Die life

Responsible to take care of Die change overs on bench or on machine as and when required.

Responsible to do preventive maintenance of Dies as per defined frequency.

Responsible to attend breakdown on machine or on work table.

Responsible to maintain spares of ie inserts in defined min. and max. stock level.

Responsible to do debuging of repeated issues and inproving Die performance on day to day bases.

Responsible to co-ordinate with Stamping team to priotize the activities in mold maintenance.

Responsible to co-ordinate with QA team in case any deviation to taken because spares shortage or debugging willt ake some time but due to any customer urgency production required considering there is no function impact on product.

Responsible to co-ordinate with engineering team for any deviation to be taken permenently due to any design limitation and if it is not impacting functionally.

Responsible to maintain 5S in Die maintenance area.

Responsible to move Dies in Tool vault, Molding or Die maintenance area as per defined work instruction.

Responsible to maintain the records such as daily log book, tool history card, spare consumption record etc. in regular bases.
