Job Description – Continental Chef
Location: Siripuram, Visakhapatnam
- Roles & Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of Continental dishes while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to standard recipes and hygiene guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients.
- Plan daily mise en place and ensure timely preparation for service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during peak hours.
- Minimize food wastage through proper portion control and inventory management.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Assist in menu development by suggesting new Continental dishes and seasonal specials.
- Maintain stock levels and inform the management about ingredient requirements.
- Ensure all dishes are served within the prescribed time and quality standards.
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure an excellent dining experience for guests.
- Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Head Chef or management.
