Interior Designer – Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join Destiny Group. The candidate should have good knowledge of residential, commercial, office, and retail interior projects. The role involves client interaction, space planning, design development, site coordination, and execution support.

Job Responsibilities

• Meet clients and understand their requirements, budget, and preferences

• Prepare concept designs, mood boards, and space planning layouts

• Develop 2D drawings, working drawings, and 3D designs

• Select suitable materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor items

• Coordinate with site supervisors, vendors, carpenters, electricians, and contractors

• Visit project sites regularly and monitor execution quality

• Ensure projects are completed as per design, timeline, and budget

• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and project estimates

• Handle client revisions and provide design solutions

• Maintain project documentation and design presentations

Required Skills

• Knowledge of interior design principles and space planning

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, 3ds Max, Lumion, or similar software

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Strong creativity and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Basic knowledge of materials, lighting, furniture, and execution methods

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture

• 1–5 years of experience in interior design projects preferred

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in residential and commercial interiors

• Ability to handle clients independently

• Site coordination and execution knowledge

• Creative thinking with practical execution approach
