Overview :

The Senior Supervisor of the SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Block Disposition Team - India (“GTS Block Disposition Team-India”) will be a hybrid role.  The Senior Supervisor is responsible for leading and coaching the GTS Block Disposition Team-India towards achieving effective and timely disposition of global trade system blocks to ensure regulatory compliance and a seamless flow of goods, services, and data across Collins’ global operations. The Senior Supervisor will also work with their leadership to ensure this team works seamlessly with a team also dispositioning GTS Blocks in Puerto Rico.  This critical role requires a GTS Master Level role and expertise in resolving system blocks based on application of Jurisdiction and Classification, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Licensing, Sanctioned Party Lists (SPL) Screening, and Embargo Screening (training provided).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive team towards the effective utilization of Colins Aerospace procedures, disposition SAP GTS system blocks to ensure uninterrupted flow of goods, services, and data.
• Lead training for new GTS Block Disposition Team members along with targeted and refresher trainings to current personnel.
• Drive team meetings for GTS Block Disposition Team turnbacks, solutions, improvements identification, and implementation.
• Use the escalation process when needed to channel all communications in/out of GTS team.
• Support system testing, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with DT and other stakeholders.
• Report to the Manager of the GTS Block Disposition teams to ensure alignment between the team in India and the team in Puerto Rico and opportunities for improvement
• Meet with internal stakeholders to drive commitments, reporting, and/or other support activities towards GTS Blocks resolution.
• Ensure employees effectively track and report time spent on all activities.
• Address employees’ vacation, sickness, and other matters as required by applicable HR policies.
• Perform Monthly Transactional Testing

Qualifications You Must Have *:

• Typically requires a Master role of SAP systems, Global Trade Services (GTS).
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Global Trade, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in global trade compliance, supply chain management, or systems troubleshooting.
• Experience leading teams
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong understanding of export controls, U.S. and international trade regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., SCOMET, ITAR, EAR).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and data.
• Have adequate computer skills to use internal Collins Aerospace systems.(e.g., SAP, Microsoft O365, including Outlook and Teams etc.)
