Job Description:

Position: Sr. Lead Engineer (P3) Hybrid

Overview: The Engineer will play a key role in supporting Landing Gear Product Design, Sustaining Engineering Changes, Test Fixture and Tooling Design, and Engineering Drawing creation and release activities. The role requires strong technical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to aerospace design and quality standards to support development, production, and in-service programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the deliverables meeting the expected quality and on-time delivery
• Maintain and develop a positive relationship with customers & other functional groups
• Collaborating with the Global and Local Stakeholders from different departments
• Responsible for compliance with Global Trade requirements
• Adherence to quality management process and procedures
• Drive process improvements opportunities
• Drive Skill Development initiatives

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and special processes.
• Excellent drawing interpretation, 3D visualization, and engineering drawing reading skills.
• Solid knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA), and Design for Cost (DFC) principles.
• Basic understanding of structural analysis concepts and the ability to interpret stress analysis reports.
• Knowledge of Landing Gear components and their functionality is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 for 3D modeling; familiarity with PLM tools such as Teamcenter is preferred.
• Exposure to Automation or Digital Technologies is an added advantage.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and meet organizational objectives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with MRO teams, business units, and cross-functional teams including design, stress, and materials engineering.
• Ability to work effectively under challenging timelines and workload demands.
• Consistently deliver results under demanding conditions while supporting team performance.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Take an active role in personal development and supporting the growth of team members to meet both career and organizational goals.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering with 7-10 years of experience. A master’s degree in a similar domain would be a plus.
