Collins Aerospace is looking for Sr. Lead Engineer(P3) to lead a team of Software engineers focused on complex product development for CNS Navigation Multi Mode Receiver. The team has responsibilities for the product life-cycle activities from Systems and Software Verification. This team works closely with product development groups that specialize Navigation Systems. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Software engineers working on the most complex Systems in the field of GNSS
• Verify Avionics DAL A products in CNS Domain
• Develop common supporting tools necessary for the development/Verification.
• Develop validation tests.
• You will get to work with amazing architects and senior developers to create scalable, extensible, and sustainable solutions.

• Support Drive strategic roadmap and Drive organizational development initiatives: Talent Management; Performance Management;

Preferred Qualification:

• 6+ years of Relevant experience in the areas of GNSS/Signal Processing
• Proficient in C++, Embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink
• Good understanding of system architecture and GNSS Receivers
• Hands on experience on GNSS simulator like SPIRENT.
• Good understanding on GNSS augmented systems (like GBAS, SBAS)
• Experience in SENSOR fusion algorithm.
• Knowledge on DO-229 and DO-178 B/C.
• Good understanding of GNSS RFI Detection and Mitigation
