What You Will Do *

Seasoned professional contributor. May manage small projects or processes. Has advanced knowledge of work area. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Works autonomously with limited oversight from manager. Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals. Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.

Manages moderate sized projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.

• • Has advanced knowledge of relevant work area.
• • Handles difficult and sometimes complex problems.
• • Executes objectives for  scheduling and budget, requirements management, reliability, coordination of different teams, evaluation measurements, and other disciplines for large or complex projects.
• • Supports in managing work-processes, optimization methods, and risk management for large or complex projects.
• • Develop SW/ SJI/SPI to reduce escapes and improve OTD.
• • Support Technical RRCAs.
• • Support re-use of Engg. Tools from organization tools repository.
• • Participate/lead in CORE events.
• • Support Productivity savings per plan.
• • Support to improve and sustain Process maturity for applicable CORE processes

What You Will Learn

• Work on complex mechanical, electro-mechanical product lines of Advanced Structures
• Hands-on exposure to RLPM and work transfer gates
• Coach and review the work of lower level professionals
• Conduct technical trainings in the respective domain of expertise
• Join Collins STEM PP&L Discipline or CoPs of interest
• Have awareness of different external forums and standards making committees/working groups

Qualifications You Must Have *

• Bachelors or master’s Degree in Engineering
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in Project management/ Technology Projects management/ Leading Cross functional team
•  Project Management Certifications- PMP/Agile Certifications
•  Operations & Supply chain Exposure

Qualifications We Prefer

•  MBA or any other Management Degree    
• Knowledge & Exposure on Program gate reviews
