Tally Operator

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Operator to manage our daily financial and inventory accounting operations at our Bangalore branch. In the fast-paced FMCG sector, accurate data logging is crucial. You will be responsible for maintaining precise records of incoming and outgoing stock, processing invoices, managing accounts receivable/payable, and ensuring seamless data entry in Tally Prime.

• Key ResponsibilitiesData Entry & Invoicing: Perform accurate and timely entry of daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal vouchers into Tally.
• Inventory Management: Track FMCG stock movements, manage stock inward/outward registers, and reconcile physical inventory with Tally records.
• Billing & Dispatch: Generate tax invoices, e-way bills, and delivery challans for distributors and retail chains.
• Accounts Receivable & Payable: Maintain vendor and customer ledgers, track outstanding payments, and assist in follow-ups.
• Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliation statements (BRS) to ensure financial accuracy.
• Compliance Assistance: Assist the accounts team in preparing data for GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS deductions.
• Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports (Sales reports, stock status, purchase summaries) for the management team.

Expert-level knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9.

Strong command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas) and MS Word.

Hands-on experience with GST, e-way bill portals, and basic taxation rules.
