As the Director and Regional Head, you will spearhead the Global Capability Centre (GCC) strategy for North American open-ended fund structures. You will be the executive anchor for a multi-billion dollar portfolio, encompassing Mutual Funds, UCITS, and liquid alternatives. This role demands a visionary leader to bridge India-based delivery with US-market expectations, managing an organization of 200+ professionals while championing a culture of automation, precision, and client centricity.

Core Responsibilities:

Client Service Management (CSM) & Strategic Oversight

Executive Ownership: Serve as the senior accountability lead for all Americas-based open ended deliverables, ensuring seamless service continuity.

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with US-based relationship managers to synchronize GCC delivery with global client growth and "one-team" jurisdictional standards.

Governance, NAV Oversight & Financial Integrity

  • NAV Excellence: Provide high-level oversight for high-volume daily and monthly NAV production, ensuring rigorous compliance with SEC/US GAAP and international regulatory frameworks.
  • Technical Stewardship: Direct the accounting and valuation of sophisticated instruments, including OTC derivatives, ETDs, and complex multi-currency share classes.

Technological Evolution & Platform Strategy

  • Stack Optimization: Drive peak performance across core platforms including SS&C Geneva, Paxus, and Mantra, ensuring deep integration between Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency modules.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead the mandate for AI and RPA integration to eliminate manual touchpoints and enhance data throughput

Organizational Leadership & Talent Synergy

Culture of Excellence: Lead a multi-tiered leadership structure, instilling a high-performance mindset that mirrors the urgency and sophistication of the US financial markets.

Value Proposition: Elevate the India GCC from a delivery hub to a Global Centre of Excellence, driving product innovation and technical thought leadership for the Americas

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 16–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in Fund Administration, specifically within Global Capability Centres (GCCs) or top-tier asset managers.
  • Qualifications: Mandatory Professional Designation (CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA Finance)
  • Expertise: Comprehensive mastery of the Investment Company Act of 1940, US GAAP, and the end-to-end open-ended fund lifecycle (including TA and waterfall mechanics).
  • Technology: Proven track record in leveraging Geneva, Paxus, and Mantra to drive operational scale is preferable.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

  • Precision: 100% SLA compliance for NAV strikes and financial reporting cycles.
  • Innovation: Quantifiable year-over-year reduction in manual exceptions through digital transformation.
  • Trust: Successful navigation of all internal and external audits with high-quality ratings.
  • Retention: Maintaining attrition for high-potential (HiPo) talent significantly below industry averages.
