Software Quality Engineer

• Have 3-5 yrs experience in Manual testing for a Product Company
• Should have experience in Integration testing of features for Desktop Product.
• Ability to devise a plan for exploratory testing and implement it to identify the risk and communicate risks based on technical knowledge and experience
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Collaborate with development and other QE on test execution.
• Write, maintain, and carry out testware (test cases, plans, reports, etc) for complex features.
• Drive End to End testing of assigned features
• Compose periodic report on status of features under test.
• Interact with Customers for Feedback on new features and Hard to Reproduce issues
• Works closely with Technical Support to gather customer feedback and ensure/add to staying vigilant with the customer on resolution
• Participates in customer engagement channels.

• Inspires a high level of confidence in testing abilities with limited oversight, often specifically requested by developers to test important or at risk functionality to assure a higher level of quality.
• Estimates and schedules own work accurately and with little supervision.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex and multi-faceted issues, and drive it to closure
• Preference will be given to candidates with artistic bent of mind.

• Collaborate with other functions to get the feature complete
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
