Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting both onpremises and Azure cloud environments with specialized knowledge in ESXi HyperV and vCenter This role involves ensuring the optimal performance availability and security of our server infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

Server Management Manage and maintain Windows Server environments ensuring optimal performance and availability

Virtualization Management Configure and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi Microsoft HyperV and vCenter perform virtual machine provisioning configuration and management

Cloud Integration Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure virtual machines storage networking implement and manage hybrid cloud solutions integrating onpremises and Azure environments

Configuration and Deployment Configure and deploy server and virtualization components ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards

Performance Monitoring Utilize monitoring tools to track the performance of servers and virtual environments implementing improvements as needed

Security Management Implement and manage security measures to protect server and cloud infrastructure including encryption access control and monitoring

User Support Provide firstline support for server and virtualization issues assist users with server resources and virtual machines troubleshoot OS application and network connectivity support remote access VPN remote desktop conduct training and create user guides assist with data backup and recovery manage requests and incidents via ticketing collaborate to escalate complex issues and support server lifecycle management procurement asset tracking disposal

Policy Enforcement Develop and enforce policies related to server and virtualization usage security and compliance

Collaboration Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of server and cloud infrastructure

Documentation Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations virtualization setups policies and procedures

Qualifications

Technical Skills Windows Server configuration management and troubleshooting virtualization VMware ESXi HyperV vCenter Azure infrastructure VMs storage networking hybrid cloud integration network protocols and VPN performance monitoring and optimization PowerShell scripting security frameworks and compliance GDPR HIPAA backup and disaster recovery SCOM and Azure Monitor

ProblemSolving Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues

Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills able to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users

Team Player Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Certifications preferred Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate VMware Certified Professional VCP Azure Administrator Associate

Preferred Skills

Experience with other virtualization and cloud platforms

Knowledge of additional scripting and automation tools for server and virtualization management

Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure and networking concepts
