Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires dynamic problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and stability, often requiring collaboration with different teams to maintain business continuity and optimize system functionality throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and performance through proactive issue identification and resolution.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall team capability.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on system support strategies and incident management.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk Enterprise Architecture and Design, Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language).
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable Splunk solutions to support enterprise-wide monitoring and analytics.
- Ability to configure and optimize Splunk environments for efficient data ingestion, indexing, and search performance.
- Experience in integrating Splunk with various data sources and third-party tools to enhance system visibility.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex system issues using Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports to drive timely resolutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Splunk Enterprise Architecture and Design.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
