Job Description & Summary: A career within (US) Tax Technology and Tax Compliance. 

Responsibilities: 

• To support in tax law changes on US’s State tax forms, partnerships, corporations etc. in the tax tech tool 

• Updating the software in line with periodic changes made by IRS or States Department of Revenue (DOR) for the respective tax forms 

• Assist in developing or executing updates based on changes in any tax technological requirements 

• Assist team in clearing any e-file diagnostics by walking them thru the software updates 

• Assist in reviewing schema or updates in e-file module of tax return forms 

• Perform testing of forms or modules prior to go-live environment Updating clients on on-going  

Mandatory skill sets:

• Experience of working in any of existing US tax technology software  

• Exposure to One Source, Corp Tax, Longview, CCH etc 

• Knowledge of US Tax Compliances – Federal, State & Local, Partnerships/Corporations etc. 

• Demonstrating innovative and critical thinking  

• Motivated, creative and decisive in approach to problem solving 

• Ownership and responsibility of clients/tasks delegated 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Strong analytical and numerical skills 

• Good interpersonal and networking skills 

Preferred skill sets: 

• Prior experience in US tax technology software company will be an added advantage.  

Years of experience required: 

10+ years (BIG4 experience preferred).  

Education qualification: 

B. Com in Accounts/MBA (preferred)/Certification in US Tax
