Role Description

Front–to–Back Process Transformation

• Lead front‑to‑back redesign initiatives across Corporate Bank Operations, with a focus on standardization, digital transformation, and operational excellence.

• Execute target operating model (TOM) strategies covering process controls, system architecture, automation pathways, and location strategy

Process Engineering & Automation

• Establish and contribute to Centers of Excellence for process re‑engineering, Lean/Six‑Sigma driven optimization, automation, and data/analytics.

• Develop end‑to‑end process models to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, reduce risk, and create scalable future‑state designs.

• Drive digital‑automation initiatives, leveraging workflow tools, analytics, and scenario modelling.

Change Delivery & Governance

• Partner with product, technology, and operational leads to deliver global transformation programs with strong governance.

• Oversee change management ensuring robust risk controls, resiliency, automated testing, and adherence to audit/regulatory standards.

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, process maps, solution requirements, and functional specifications.

• Translate business requirements into actionable transformation and technology solutions.

• Support UAT planning, implementation tracking, and change management activities.

Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Actively collaborate across IB business lines, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Control functions to uplift client experience, reduce operational risk, and enhance control maturity.

• Drive continuous‑improvement culture across IB Operations through training, coaching, and best‑practice adoption.

Your key responsibilities

• Investment Bank and Cross Product Operations (IBCPO) is fully integrated, front-to-back aligned delivery model providing transaction, reporting and cash management services to Deutsche Bank’s multi-asset global businesses including IB – FIC Sales and Trading, Invest Bank and Capital Release Unit.

• Product domain knowledge should include Regulatory Reporting, Corporate Action, Fund Accounting, Collateral, Treasury, Tax, Capital Market

• Investment Banking (IB Operations) is an integrated delivery model, in a continuous process of front-to-back alignment providing transaction, reporting and cash management services to Deutsche Bank’s multi-asset global businesses including IB Business – Middle Office, Derivatives, Trade lifecycle, Cash Management, Trust and Agency Services, Trade Finance and Lending, as well as Security Services.

• Deutsche Bank is going through a significant transformation of its front-to-back operations including IBCPO, marked as one of the banks top 3 transformation agendas.

• The role will report to the India Head of Investment Bank and Cross Product F2B Operations.

Your skills and experience

• 8–12 years of experience in driving transformation across complex banking environment.

• Strong experience in Investment Banking F2B Transformation, including experience in end-to-end transformation across Cross Product Operations’ products, operating model, processes.

• Strong experience in managing senior stakeholders and maintain alignment across multiple business, functional, and regional constituencies.

• Expertise in process re-engineering, automation, or transformation.

• Strategic and innovative mindset, with the ability to influence and lead large-scale change. Delivery / outcome focused. Effective communication, presentation and influencing skills. Critical problem-solving skills, able to think tactically and strategically.

• Organized, able to manage multiple priorities and achieve target deadlines. Reliable and resilient, experience of dealing with challenging situations.

• Able to work constructively in a matrix organization.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
