Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

Summary:
In the role of Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. This includes collaborating closely with various stakeholders to define and implement data standards. The role requires facilitating efficient data collection, storage, access, and usage processes. Additionally, the practitioner actively drives data stewardship initiatives to ensure comprehensive and effective governance across the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and data quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote adherence to data governance frameworks.
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Support the development and delivery of training programs related to data governance practices.
- Assist in the documentation and communication of data policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to enhance their understanding of data governance.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- Experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data quality and compliance issues.
- Ability to work with data management tools and platforms to support governance activities.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and facilitate collaboration.
- Knowledge of data security principles and best practices to protect sensitive information.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
