Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with 68 years of handson expertise in managing optimizing and migrating Oracle databases across multiple environments including cloud platforms
Job Description
6 to 8 years of handson experience in Oracle Database Administration including RAC RMAN ASM Data Guard and OEMExpertise in identifying and resolving current database issues to improve performanceManage and maintain Oracle databases across multiple environments ensuring high availability and reliabilityPerform detailed database analysis and provide actionable recommendationsDesign and optimize database architecture for enhanced performance Develop automation scripts to improve platform efficiency and reduce manual intervention Conduct performance tuning and optimization Design database schemas including partitioning for efficient data management Implement and manage high availability HA solutions Manage archiving of historical data to optimize storage and performance Experience in migrating Oracle databases from onpremises to cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain Oracle database environments ensuring optimal performance and availability Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and bottlenecks Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design scalable database solutions Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN Configure and manage Oracle RAC and Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine database tasks Plan and execute database migrations to cloud environments Azure AWS Optimize database schema design including partitioning and indexing Ensure compliance with database security policies and standards Document database configurations procedures and policies
