Role: Senior Platform  Engineer (AWS)

Experience Level: 3-6 Years

Work location: Bangalore

Role & Responsibilities:

• Build & Automate: Implement and maintain automation software to enhance the functionality, reliability, and availability of applications and cloud platforms.
• IaC Implementation: Actively apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployments.
• Operational Support: Implement, configure, and maintain monitoring and alerting tools to ensure platform stability and proactive issue resolution.
• CI/CD Management: Execute deployment and test automation processes through CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog, Docker).
• Container Maintenance: Build, manage, and scale containerized environments using Kubernetes.
• Team Collaboration: Support junior resources through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Project Participation: Actively participate in technical discussions, providing status updates on project tasks, blockers, and progress to the team and stakeholders.

Must have skills:

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining core AWS infrastructure (Compute, Storage, Networking, Messaging).
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform for building and managing repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure.
• Containerization: Practical experience building, managing, and scaling containerized environments using Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience configuring and managing automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub).
• Scripting & Development: Strong coding skills in Bash, Python, for automation, troubleshooting, and system management.
• Systems Administration: Solid Linux system administration skills, with a focus on debugging, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
• Database Operations: Working knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (ElasticSearch, InfluxDB).
• Multi-Region Support: Experience deploying and integrating solutions within multi-region cloud environments.
